So my iphone got water spilled on and I turned it on, is it still savable?
Well I woke up and checked my phone as normal. Turns out, I knocked a glass of water on it in my sleep and my grandma wiped the table dry without telling me. It was on a power dock (you put it in a case like thing than put it onto a tiny table that charges it). Is it too late to do the rice bag? The only problem I have right now is that the home button activates on itself (voice control turns on automatically and when I click the power button it takes a screenshot)
Try drying out the phone as much as you can and try again. If the problems don't go away take it to a phone shop and they might be able to take the phone apart and fix any problems. Maybe contact apple? I have had friends who's iphones have been washed in the machine, rolled over by a car and dropped countless time and still work.
My son swears by the rice bag. He's had that happen before and put it in a bowl of rice and it soaked up the water in it. Hope this works for you too!
