How high should a mattress on a bed frame be from the floor?
Why don’t we put a mattress directly onto the floor without having to use a bed frame?
There really isn't a set height. It depends on your preference. Some believe that raising it off the floor is necessary for air circulation to the box spring., but there really is nothing to confirm this. Many mattresses sit on platforms or directly on the floor with no problems. Do what you like!
