What's the best way to get stains out of white shoes?
I have a pair of Nike running shoes that I'd like to get clean. What's the best way to get a stain out of them?
My grandmother's solution was not to remove the stain, but to cover it up with white show polish.
The shoe is mesh, and cloth, so I don't think polish will work.
Try Dawn dishwashing soap mixed with a few drops of peroxide. Use an old toothbrush if you have one to scrub. Check a small area first to make sure it doesn't cause yellowing. This has worked for me for almost any stain.
I just heard to try spraying it with spray and wash and then putting them through the washing machine. Maybe you technique with the washing machine will clean them up even better. Thanks!
I use magic eraser on everything, maybe it will work on your sneakers? Let me know
My wife loves that product. I'll try it.
Y. Try a warm paste of Oxyclean. Mix Oxyclean with enough HOT water to make a paste and put it on the shoe and let it stay for maybe 10 minutes. You could out your shoe with the paste on it in the microwave --20 seconds. Heat activates the oxygen bleach, which is what Oxyclean is.

What's the best way to remove stains from stainless steel? My son tends to leave food tins standing in the sink soaking, despite repeated requests not to do this. The bottom of the tins leave a black circle on the stainless steel. They are very stubborn stains. Any suggestions to help remove them...

What's the easiest way to get a washing machine up a flight of stairs? My washing machine broke, and a friend is lending me their "spare one" (I don't know why you'd have a spare one), but I live in a first floor flat, and I have no idea how we are going to get mine out, and there's in!
