What plants grow will in the sun.
We live in EAST TEXAS and yes it gets HOT here. I have 2 planters at the end of my walk and it is in the sun all the time. What plant could take our kind of heat?
I live in North Central Texas, and decided to convert my front yard to native plants. I suggest looking for a local nursery (not a big box store) that specializes in native plants, and getting their suggestions.
If you're on Facebook, you might also search for an East Texas gardener's group. I belong to a local group for vegetable gardeners, and it's been invaluable for figuring out what will, and won't grow where I live.
