    I'd love to. But my ideal home would be a caravan, specifically a gyspsy bow top. I may own one yet, who knows? Failing that, I'd live in a static happily enough. Oh and I like those tiny homes, the ones built from wood and a little bigger than a garden shed.

    Not far from where I live those caravans are still made by hand today - they are also very popular in county Kerry - where you could pick one up reasonable smile

    yes. I'm currently reading a book about frank lloyd wright and his perspective on building homes was so advanced. now I want a home designed as if he built it...

      It is sad, but its okay.  We are relocating to another state.  We are looking at building again.

    Been there, done that! I was miserable. A dream home means nothing if you don't have the right person to share it with!

    Heck yeah! Trouble is, I'd end up getting a divorce over it cause we can't agree on anything. When I was working in the brick business, I helped everyone else build their home, though I never built one. 

    I'd like to have a traditional Gothing Revival cottage, comlete with gingerbread trim and color galore throughout. That's my idea of a dream house.
