Some day I would like to build my ideal home would you?
I'd love to. But my ideal home would be a caravan, specifically a gyspsy bow top. I may own one yet, who knows? Failing that, I'd live in a static happily enough. Oh and I like those tiny homes, the ones built from wood and a little bigger than a garden shed.
Not far from where I live those caravans are still made by hand today - they are also very popular in county Kerry - where you could pick one up reasonable
hi irish i would like to make my house built and be with my loved ones
pooja - yes it would be nice - big gym for me and a nice open fire
yes. I'm currently reading a book about frank lloyd wright and his perspective on building homes was so advanced. now I want a home designed as if he built it...
Been there, done that! I was miserable. A dream home means nothing if you don't have the right person to share it with!
Heck yeah! Trouble is, I'd end up getting a divorce over it cause we can't agree on anything. When I was working in the brick business, I helped everyone else build their home, though I never built one.
I'd like to have a traditional Gothing Revival cottage, comlete with gingerbread trim and color galore throughout. That's my idea of a dream house.

Far too often I see people in the Philippines scrimping on expenses to build their first house by not consulting an engineer. They believe that an architect is sufficient.Do you believe a house can be built with just an architect, or would you insist on hiring an engineer too? Why?

Would you build a safe room/panic room into your new house?Whether you want to have safety from a storm, cyclone, typhoon, hurricane or twister do you want a safe room built into your house. Or do you live in fear of crime and would love to have a panic room built into your house?

If you were living your ideal life, what would you be doing? What would your day to day activities look like? Who would you spend time with? Where would you be living?

Do you always welcome guests to your house with open arms?Should guests (distant relatives or friends) turn up unexpectedly at your house for an extended stay (lets say a fortnight or a month), would be a welcoming host? Or would you try a few tricks to drive them away?
