Do you plan on working after you retire?
I just read an interesting fact from Employee Benefit Research Institute 2009 survey stating that "72% of workers plan to work after 'retirement'". Could that be true. I want to know your thoughts...
As a full-time freelance writer, I barely make enough to get by, at least, for now. If I can afford to eventually save money for retirement, then yes, I will.
The problem is that writing is so in my blood that I would do it even if I wasn't getting paid, and I have. So even if I would retire, I would still write.
Eventually, I will get so old that I won't be able to write. At that point, I will have to fall on my retirement savings, assuming that it will be there.
No way. Not a traditional job anyway. Maybe just hobbies. Things I can actually enjoy.
No, I'll run a couple of charities and enjoy traveling. What about you, Samantha?
I am not sure I will ever quit working but like you J. McCoy I plan on investing my time and energy into organizations and traveling.
