No retirement for me.  Seen too many friends over the years 'retire' only to die early from sitting around too much and going to the doctor for every little thing.

I'm working until they pry my cold, dead hands from the keyboard.

You must have something in you life to keep your intellect
busy, whether you retire or not.A hobby is a must of
    some kind.

Will probably work until I am physically unable to... continue working will help in brain activity, reducing the chance of senility at an earlier age than normal.

Early? I will be retiring this July at age 62. Social Security says that's early. My pension says I'm fully vested. My health has been compromised and my wife is recovering from numerous issues including fibromyalgia.
This is not an early retirement for us, regardless of what SS and others may say.
I wish you ALL the best.

Retire early from "The Man" then work for myself.

I'm ready to retire to self employment, and then do that until I am no longer able to do it, then I will outsource all I was doing.

I'd like to be in the position to make the choice...to work if I want to, not because I have to.
