RAW SEWAGE is coming up in our shower, toilet and our sink!!!!! WHAT CAN WE DO
We have got rats, sewage in our bathroom and bins every where surrounding our property and we are not at all happy with it! what is the best thing to do? we have informed our landlord that we will be leaving the property and that we no longer want to live there as itis not fit for purpose!!!! we cant even shower or use the toilet in our own property as it is horrendous!!!! theres excretement coming up when we are showering!!! are we within our rights to leave the property mid contract and ask for our deposit back?
Yes you are within your rights, this is bad enough to deal with when it happens on your own property. The sewage line is clogged with something, but it's the landlord's responsibility to fix it with the money you pay monthly to him/her. Good Luck
The Things to Do ...
1. DO NOT DRINK THE POLLUTED WATER, STRAIN IT THROUGH A FINE CLOTH, MEANING, FILTER THE WATER, THEN BOIL IT FOR 30 MINUTES, AND WHEN ITS COOL, DRINK IT.
2. REPORT THIS MATTER TO YOUR LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITIES... THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF ALL THE REST.
