Iraq is a nation of good people, who, just like those in the United States and all nations, desire to live happy and peaceful lives. We must always remember to separate politics from people.....although that often seems impossible.
In a sense, it is impossible, since politics.....in theory at least.....are a practice by which collective groups of people decide upon policies for a nation, state, city, or even a family to some extent. However, not everyone's voice is heard, and every individual, regardless of power or status, deserves respect as a human person.
So, to answer your question: Yes, I like and care about the Iraqi people, and I wish them the best now and always.
