I tend to not listen as I work in Finance and I get enough advice there! Heh! Bailing out the banks, and everyone sharing the brunt of their bad gambling and bad financial decisions. What makes them so special. More banks should have been let go to rot and ruin. People are being forced at gunpoint to give over their hard-earned cash to banks. That is wrong. Some cannot afford it. And the Govt is getting some of your cash as the "broker" in the deal! There's a lot Govts are not telling people.
There needs to be more alternatives to Banks, like co-ops and building societies and Credit Unions. Govts are building mountains of Gold reserves now with the cash.

You should have started savings years ago - because it's true
Save, save, save. Yeah it's a lot easier said than done. Thanks
Investing in stocks for "long term" is a thing of the past, you should only "trade" or buy and sell for short term profits.
In my opinion this is absurd. But then again it's just my opinion....
Diversify and dollar cost average into index mutual funds Blah Blah Blah!

Why do Banks charge you to cash a check that is from their own Bank. When I get paid my payroll check I go to the bank to cash it and I get charged $6 dollars because I do not have an account with that Bank. In the past I remeber never having to pay a fee to cash check.

I am sick and tired of hearing the same old advice given to your girlfriends. I hate hearing how they should stay in a relationship for stupid reasons. Why is that people think they know whats best when they dont even have a clue?
