How can I find help with funding a place to call home ? I'm currently living in a small single wide.
mobile home ,it's like a 1964 sm. place . There's no room what so ever ,cold drafty I wear more clothes layered inside than I do outside . The roof leaks bad the ceiling looks like it's ready to fall in , I'm not sure what to do, more than positive that I've got a black mold problem, in fact that's why I've been so sick this past year , I'm 41 yrs old a single female ,I do not have any income coming in , I have children ,They're not living with me right now , But soon . That's what has me so worried an stressed ,It's that they will be this coming summer an I just don't have the ability to get
If you live in the U.S., you can contact your local county office. If you qualify, they can help you obtain places to live (especially when there are children involved). They can also help put you in touch with other agencies that can help you out too. Good luck!
