what advice can you give to a person who is trying to live a simple and frugal life ?
Eat at home instead of going to a restaurant.
Rent movies or watch TV instead of going to the movies.
Walk or ride a bike to trips that don't require transporting heavy items.
Cancel subscriptions you dont need.
Cancel your home phone if you have a cell phone.
Cancel your home internet if you have it on your cellphone.
Eat simple foods.
Shop at walmart & use coupons for food and other basic necessities.
Carpool to work.
I think the answer to this question depends on how frugal the person wants to be. If you are trying to be super frugal, a single person can eat for under a dollar per day.You do not need transportation, but you do need exersize, so walk. You can limit the amount of electricity you use, or make solar energy for your home. These small tips will save a frugal person thousands of dollars per year.
