   I have a 15K judgement agianst another person and or couple from a buisness gone bad...
   
   Does this eman basically i wont see a penny from them?

   Your chances of collecting from an empty pot is , if as you say the business has gone bad, highly unlikely. While anything is possible it may be better for you to move on and chalk it up to experience.  Don't let the situation take control and turn emotional otherwise you could spend a very long time chasing anger and only hurting yourself in the end. I hope it works out for you but don't let this thing become all consuming.

   I have some strategies that could work in this situation. Eventually you could collect all of your money plus penalties and fees acquired in collecting the debt;
   
   I have been considering collecting on judgements for a business .
   So I have studied up on the subject. 
   
   The first thing to do would be to do and asset search, If they are buying a home you can put a lien against the property.  Which means they cannot re-finance or sell unless they pay you first.
   
   I you know where they work you can place a wage garnishment against they check.  You can also seize their bank account..
   
   The best thing is if they have a mortgage you can place a lien on the property. Then sitback and wait for payday. Payday plus penalties and interest.
   
   If you don;t want to bother with all of this legal activity. You can make a deal with me for 50% of the loan,  All monies to be exchanged after the full amount plus penalties has been received.

   Yea look slike from the posts i will not be getting anything...The person has no mortgage or assests as they are basically grifters and live like gypsies, I am not the only person they burned so there is a big line waiting for them...My lawyer kinda new they were going to do this (Chapter13) so he prepared me for it..I guess I will move on like i am and chalk it up as a bad bet at the casinos...........
