Is there anyone qualified to write a Hubs on financial advising?

Is there anyone qualified to write a Hub or series of Hubs on financial planning for lower middle income readers? How to save for retirement when you are doing everything commonly advised to cut costs, but there is still nothing left to save or invest? Traditional or Roth? How to invest the IRA money? What kind of life insurances? What if you cannot even afford life insurance? If the only financial advice you can afford is 'free'? Ed Slott's stuff is fine, but it assumes you HAVE something to invest or 'protect'. How do you get that something?

I've been a financial planner for 15 years.  I have a number of hubs I have written on different topics. If there is a specific question you have, then feel free to email me.

Not knowing your sex, family situation or employment, the following are general steps to begin saving. Once you are saving the questtions of life insurance, investing and IRA's are much easier to address because they are specific.

Step 2: Reduce discretionary spending. You need food, shelter, transportation. You want cell phones, eating out, going to the movies, new shoes.

Step 3: When you do save money, save money.  Don't simply spend the savings on something else.

Step 4: Increase household income. Get a part-time job, start your own business that does not require money, i.e. pet walking, house sitting, babysitting, car washing, lawn service, personal services like paying bills or shopping for elderly, etc.

This would be a good start. I have a couple Hubs that might help. Please read them.

Interesting questions.  I am new to HubPages  even though I have been registered a while ago, but I have been an accounting & finance professional since 2004.  I am a licensed in insurance as well as securities.  I am an investment adviser.  And my most common client is in the lower middle income market.  I highly recommend you to google Dave Ramsey and attend his Financial Peace University course.  My family and I have received many blessings by having gone through that course.

Its possible that you are being taken advantage off and don't realize it or are making financial mistakes because you are in the wrong mindset and not taking the proper steps in the proper order.  Believe me when you don't have a written plan and are trying to do everything at once chances of success are usually very slim.
