Hi All,
Just curious if anyone has purchased or knows anything about the product "HubBlueprint"? Background, etc..
I clicked on the adsense ad that was on someone else's profile and it looked interesting?
Who are David Bullock & Roger Hall? These are the guys promoting this product. It looks like it is an e-book. I am not opposed to anyone putting forth this type of info and selling it, IF that is what they want to do - but...
Do these people write here and under what pen-names. They show a few of the hubs that get great traffic.
Are the hubs they show, any of their hubs - I am wondering? Because it seems to me, that if what they claim is so simple - these must be their hubs, right?
Can anybody give up any info here? Is this a product worthy of any hubbers ten bucks?
Thanks,

Why buy it when its free!!

I've never heard of it...
I just did a search on Yahoo. I want to say that it's kind of hard to not be the number one on a search engine if you're searching your exact title. It seems all their screenshots of how to be top in the search engines are using the hub's exact title to search.
It seems all of the hubs they did a search on are written by different hubbers.
Oh wait, the one that came up for me is for $7 and written by David Bullock & Rosie Cottis, but I believe it's the same one because when I looked it up again, I found the one with the author's you're referring to and it had the same screenshots.

Wow - you get a deal if you buy at that price! I want that ad! LOL
These guys are advertising here on hubpages through adsense. That is how I found them and clicked it on. Just caused me to be curious.
Here is the ad:
HubPages Exposed
Why Haven't HubPage users been Told These HubPage Facts? Why?
www.onvideo1.com/Traffic-Magnet
Lets find out if this is legit from someone who knows before we all go clicking on this Ad like I did. LOL
I guess the "HubPages Exposed" title got me!

Hm. That link doesn't work. I tried to search "HubPages Exposed," but I couldn't get anything.
Weird - I cut and pasted this ad completely as it was posted. The link was at the bottom of the Ad, not necessarily what was being clicked when clicking the actual Adsense Ad???
Very curious? I hope we can find out more. Go check a few profiles and see if you can find the Ad....

I copied what you posted, added http:// and removed the Traffic-Magnet and was able to pull up the site.
I can't see any of the pictures, but it's probably some kind of legit eBook. I don't know about the actual content though. I mean in regards is it worth the money. I wouldn't buy it, but I wouldn't buy any HubPages eBook; I'm just not sure if it's worth it to me to buy one.
I just went over to godaddy.com to check out the url... I wanted to see if I could find out who owns the domain,etc.. They say that it is an invalid url. I wonder if that url is phony?
I am going to try and get to the page that I actually clicked on to and see what url comes up???

Funny... I will need to go back over to godaddy and try that. I thought that I did though?
I am not saying this can't be legit. It probably is, but the whole campaign seems a bit strange to me. But hey, that's marketing, right?

I don't know if it's the same guy, but there was someone else hawking an e-book about HubPages a while ago. Personally, I can't see what value you'd get from it - there are so many Hubs about how to Hub already, you can get all the info you need from them, for free!
For every money-making site on the net, you'll find an e-book somewhere. The people who write them don't necessarily have any great knowledge to share, they've just spied an opportunity.
Hi Marissa -
I think you are right. In fact, the idea that these guys or whoever they are, purport themselves to be experts on Hubpages was probably what red flagged this for me personally.
Most, like you imply - who are hubbers, have written hubs concerning the knowledge about hp that they have acquired. The other fact, of not knowing who these folks are, kind of bothers me really.
I guess what I am thinking, is that if these guys know so much - shouldn't we hubbers already know who THEY are? LOL
This seems reasonable to me personally. I just wanted to throw out a heads up on this product - and perhaps see if I was wrong on this one.
Actually, I would love, that for ten bucks - to have all the most pertinent info about Hubpages in one place. But, I would be more comfortable buying from someone whom I know, really does have the experience and expertise about Hubpages.
Maybe it is just me, but I kind of think that it would be someone we are familiar with... don't you?
Also, I am not so sure that I like how they are marketing their product. It seems as though they want to undermine HP in some way, by using the word "expose" - as if there is something hidden and only "they" have the answer in their ebook.
I have never like sensationalism in advertising. This just seems somewhat dishonest to the consumer.
Thanks for responding:-)

Thanks Shirley:-)
I actually did do a search of the product here in the forums before I started this thread, but nothing came up.
Thanks for the info, as it answers more questions for me. It seems as though the general consensus so far - is not to buy this ebook.
I still feel strong about the fact that we have no idea WHO this guy or these people are and that is what really bugs! LOL
I wonder if it is possible to blend two threads, so that we can become ONE?

The only reason I found it is because I started it, so I knew it was there.
If you are interested in Hub Blueprint, I bought it and I thought it kinda sucked.
It would be okay for newbies maybe, but most of the stuff in the book really isn't all that revolutionary or exciting.
But, if you want to take a look, I do have giveaway rights to it, so feel free to download it at this link:

If someone wants you to pay money with a guarantee that you are going to make money, I would be highly suspicious. As everyone has said, there are many hubpages dedicated to how to make money online. However, honestly I can say if you write passionately about subjects you enjoy, which are not money related, you will be surprised and might actually make a few cents here and there. I think writing with passion and putting dedication into your work is the best way.
Thanks for posting the link for free Marc : I hope u bought it thru clickbank and got your $ back!
I just skim read it: its not wrong but most of the stuff which is amazing ! like hubs rank well in google! and HP creates lots of backlinks ! is not news to anyone who is doing this for the money - and if you weren't why would u care!
Oh and don't go back and update your hub regularly - just ensure you include a news/rss or EBAy capsule to get an automatic update :-) - oh sorry I should havent said that and I could sel the $29.95 ebook.
Also nothing about create an attractive hub or how to avoid being banned for being overally promotional
Now if you wrote an ebook Lissie it would be worth the money!
Hi
I haven't heard of it before but I am going to check it out as it sounds interesting from the replies that I have been reading.
I don't know who wrote it or what is in it but I thank them for the traffic.
Someone googled hubblueprint , got this forum and then got to one of my pages, I love it.
This also means that someone who posted in this thread sent me a click thanks.

Just gaging anyone else's earnings here. I just checked google adsense and I have earned 64 dollars in 18 months. I've only written 19 Hubs and most of them don't get any traffic. Any thoughts?

Hi all. I have set up Amazon Affiliate program on hubpages and featured Amazon products on a number of my hubs. Looking at it after a while, the link-type report in the Amazon account shows that no one has clicked on the products so far. I wanted to know whether this actually works, so I clicked on...

Is the growth sustainable? When I arrived 4 months ago, we had 400,000 hubs. What is it now, 500,000? Does this site really benefit from people writing almost identical hubs on the same topics? When somebody arrives they are told to write, write, write, write. 30 in 30 basically. I am being a little...
