What was the worst financial advice you ever received?
I'll go first :-). When I was about 22 years old I was interviewing for a job and the President of the company basically hired me on the spot (gee, weren't those the days?) and she proceeded to go over the salary and company benefits and then made the comment, "you're so young you don't need to worry about retirement". In hindsight, being young is exactly the right time to start retirement saving because you will have more years to accumulate the nest egg. What was the worst financial advise you ever received?
My father told me once that money is a tool and it should just be used. He'd say that to justify being really crappy with money, lol.
