Hello Hubpages staff!  I have gone from $25 a day to 2.50 to .02! Can you check my account to make sure my Google number is still associated with my account. Something is terribly wrong!

How is your traffic?  And do you have HPads activated?

Have you looked over the past month or two on a day-by-day basis to see if there weren't some days when your AdSense earnings went that low?

It's normal for AdSense earnings to fluctuate a lot from day to day.

My earning have never disappeared like this, even during previous P slaps.  My earning dropped but still did pretty good by the end of the month. My earning have not been like this since the day I began using adsense in 2008.  My earning dropped severely in Jan. I though, OK after Xmas drop and then the next month another 50% and now barely nothing.  I have tried to post on Adsense forum, but the links keep me going in circles.

          Go to AdSense.
          Click the Performance Reports tab.
Click the date range to the right, and select Last 30 Days from below Quick Dates.
Scan the data in the table below.

What changed: Page views? Clicks? CPC? Page RPM?

Jason, traffic and earning has already been down 75% from the holidays.  It looks like the beginning of March CRT dropped from 3 to 2 digits, clicks from 2 to 1 digit, an and CPC varies.

So it sounds like a traffic issue. Most people see traffic drop after the holidays.

It isn't just a traffic issue. My traffic is down by about 15 - 20 % but my Adsense earnings this month are going to end up being down by over 75% compared with last month. And last month was half of January's Adsense.

I have 3 sites besides Hubpages and every single one has had Adsense go down this month to all time lows.  They have the same traffic, but the ads have been really poor that are appearing. It may just be an Adsense thing.

I'm no expert but if someone went from 25.00 to 2.50 to .2, that looks like a math error involving the DECIMAL POINT!

Very sad... but from $25 to $2.50 to $0.02 in how many days? Are you talking about $25 pre-panda? Just curious!

      Yes, pre-panda.

My Adsense earnings have got noticeably lower over the last month. This month they're in the toilet!

The £2 click (a rare enough post-Panda, post HP ads occurence) is now a thing of the past for me.

Ours, too, Randy!  Since May of last year, my husband and I have made a total of $16 with Adsense--that's with 236 hubs combined between us.

I go into Google Adsense, but I just cannot figure that stuff out--I have no clue if we're doing something wrong or what the heck is going on... mad

Did your traffic plunge all of a sudden like some of us have experienced?  Mine fell overnight as did Izzy's and others last August.  We are in Google's sandbox which happened shortly after we changed over to sub-domains. You'll know this is the case if most of your Google.com traffic disappears from hubs which formerly received most of their traffic from them.

It makes no difference if you have the very best article out there either.  Pure crap will be placed ahead of you and there's nothing you can do about it.  No one knows how to fix it either.  It's not very encouraging, to say the least! smile

My traffic dropped drastically after Christmas.  I stopped writing.  What is the point?  I nor HP can make any money until this is resolved.  I have a blogspot blog (about 5 yrs old)whose traffic is down 99.59%.  How does one loose almost 100% of their traffic?

My March Adsense earnings are down also.  Except for one day, my Adsense earnings this month so far, are less than a dollar a day.  Let's hope March is just a slow month.

Hi 2besure, this must be so frustrating for you. Ive never been at $25 a day but I sure wouldn't want to lose it if I was. This is always a challenge and you wonder if it's worth the time but hopefully improvements will be made soon.

Journey...I like that username!  Writing is a Journey and you have to learn how to adapt.  When eHow stopped its writer compensation program, I lost 700 a month in earnings.  They offered me a nice pay off; and I took it!  I have three blogspot blog that I am doing over in Wordpress.  I will see what tomorrow brings?

Uh... how are you doing blogspot blogs in wordpress? They are completely different platforms.

And are you on HP ads? When HP ads came in (Feb/March '11) the site was re-optimized for them as opposed to Adsense.

I am transferring them through Godaddy using their webhosting and wordpress format.  You can actually download you blogspot blog and them upload it when ready.

Ah. You do realize that doing it that way resets all the page age you have with Google? And Godaddy has a bad history with web hosting. You might want to research them first...

How old are your blogspot blogs?  Did they have domain names or were they just ".blogspot" names?

If they are ".blogspot" names and you've had them more than a year, you'd be mad to move them to wordpress.  You'll lose all the backlinks and subscribers you've already gained, any page rank you've earned, and you'll have to start right back at the bottom of the pile again.

And as Wry says, GoDaddy is OK to buy domain names from, but not a good place to host your blog.

I have 2 that are over two years old.  Not much traffic and no money. So I am not losing anything. A few years ago, I used to make money from them regularly. Three years ago, I had also had 2 blogspot blogs deleted for no apparent reason.  I am a pretty straight arrow, so i could not figure out why they were deleted.  Now I don't trust them.

Jalene, followers do NOT bring you money. Neither does traffic from other hubbers. You get money from ranking in search engines.
