   For those who believe that the LBGT lifestyle is wrong, even abhorrent and sinful, what if your
   
   child or children inform you that  he/she or they were LBGT?   Would you accept or disown them?
   It behooves humanity to respect the humanity of the LBGT community if humanity wants to evolve as a species.  It is totally unexcusable to be prejudicial against LBGT people for they are our neighbors, coworkers, even our relatives and children.   Again, for those who are so adamantly against LBGT people, if YOUR child was LBGT, what would be YOUR reaction!  It is simply not good at all to have unfounded and unbased prejudices.

   I don't understand why people try to classify and make a separate issue out of the LBGT. It is the same as any other deviant behavior. You love the sinner and hate the sin. If my child was a drug addict, prostitute, thief, morbidly obese, or anything else, I would still live them. Based on the behavior I may place rules at my house, but love them no less. Really, this is a stupid question and I am not sure why I am responding other than people like the author of this question trying to make moral people immoral under the emblem of tolerance.

   If I had a child who turned out to be gay, of course I would not disown them. As I said to a gay friend, "you guys ruined a perfectly good word, gay". Why does one's sexual preference need a name?  While homosexuality holds no appeal to me, judging other people is way above my pay grade.

      But if it was yr child and not Richard? Richard is not a good example of a gay person, by the way, he represents probably less than 10% of gay people by how he acts etc. but thanks for answering
