   What do you know about atheists or agnostics?

   What I know about them that they do not believe that there is a God who created the world with it's creatures and all human beings. Some of them believes that the world created accidentally.

   To me an atheist does not believe in any type of God.  From what I know about an agnostic-a friend of mine is one-they may not believe in a God but they consider a possibility of one.  Some may believe in the possibility of a Supreme being.

   Sorry I can't speak about atheists in the plural, don't know enough of them.  Can only describe myself, if this helps in answering your question:
   I do not accept the idea of a supernatural being or spirit overseeing my individual personal life.  I call such an entity "God," and I don't accept the existence of him/her/it.  In this sense I am atheist.
   Regarding the "origin of things," i.e., how this finite world came about, how it entered the realm of existence, I am open minded.  The verdict remains open.   In this sense, I am agnostic.
   Reading and learning about scientific studies that have come up with new knowledge and further hypotheses, brings me great inspiration and joy, that my fellow humans are able to use their (our) intelligence and curiosity to understand the "Big Picture."
   Very comfortable sitting here with a new label:  "Atheistic Agnostic human being,"  full of love and wonder.

      And who better to answer this question that an atheist and an agnostic? To me the mark of an atheist is that we will accept new ideas about our world, theists have closed their minds to new possibilities because "they know a god did it".

      Yes. And I am open to the theist's need for certainty and common acceptance of their beliefs.  I can accept without taking it on board.  The differences of opinion and understanding are important.  Do we want knowledge that is set in concrete?

      I do not want to think that everything is unchangeable or up to the capricious whim of some deity. I want to think that we live in a universe of infinite possibilities and someday we will understand it.

      Not sure why you thought the first one was incorrect.
      Atheist are not religious people. They don't believe in God or the devil. A religious dogma is a doctrine proclaimed by clergy authority as true. Atheists don't believe the bible is factual.

      But atheists do believe that "religious dogma" exists. We can see it, touch it, and read it. However, religious dogma does not have any authority over an atheist, it is not law or even logical. But it does exist.

   Both atheists and agnostics are folks with an open mind  -  but never "open" enough to allow the possibility of a deity as described in any of the organized religions. The very fact that mathematics is not different in Iran and America clearly shows the distinction between knowing and believing. However, the truth about gods is up for grabs, because take a Moslem and a Christian and both will be "sure" that "their" god is the "only" one. So what is objective and axiomatic about god(s) if the "truth" varies from one global locality to another?
   
   So, this, in a nutshell, is what I know about atheists and agnostics  -  they don't mix believing with factual, axiomatic reality. This is not to be confused with a belief system that everybody has and which supports our survival strategies. I may "believe" that walking at night beside bars is not safe. But that has nothing to do with religious beliefs. So, we can't say that atheists "also believe" in something  -  like in an attempt to make them "believers" as well, "equal" to religious believers.

      Atheists are not open to a "god" theory (they prefer science), but agnostics are. Both atheists and agnostics prefer facts and logic over "testimony" and beliefs.
