Why would any gay person want to be a Christian
Actually Christianity doesn't teach Christians to persecute anyone.
I suspect gay people as well as people in general who are attracted to religion are looking for "unconditional love" and a understanding of life purpose. Many people are drawn towards the teachings of Jesus.
For some folks if it weren't for their belief in a God they would give up.
