The Democratic party pumped out a plethora of falsisms in Charlotte.

I've seen several of these false claims posted on the HP forums.

Fact Check has handed out more Pinocchios for the GOP, by far than for the Obama campaign.

        So?

The GOP is more numerous than the Obama campaign. Or did you mean than all democrats?

It's stupid to compare parties to candidates. Everyone knows Romney isn't extreme-right, but somehow the viewpoints of the extreme-right are a negative reflecting on him...

I like how the DNC is saying that it's wrong to claim the video(you belong to the government) is a reflection of them... they had nothing at all to do with it.

Romney is stuck with the extreme right label as a result of picking Paul Ryan. He's not a nut case but he's about as extreme right as they get. He's relying on old white male voters almost exclusively.

It doesn't matter because a good Democrat will only believe factcheck.org when they are checking the Republicans. Otherwise they must have been infiltrated by the Tea Party just to screw with the DNC, right?

Why not let "democrats" make a response before characterizing what it will be? Otherwise this is just a pointless hate-fest.

Repairguy47posted 12 years agoin reply to this

Because the response would be a lie! Democrats lie!

It's nice to see that you are here to have a constructive discussion.

There is no reason to have a constructive or even  civil discussion with progressives! It always dissolves into a liberal screeching about being harmed in some way by a conservative. I would much rather call them out on their lies.

Maybe you should let this thread be about what it is actually about, and start your own thread to call democrats lying liarz?

I find this whole thing fascinating in that each side of this argument believes the other to be without fault.
These guy are politicians. They are taught to lie before they are allowed before the press or a microphone.
I don't care which party, they are both full of male bovine fecal matter.

I probably would have said it differently, but, yes, after reading this thread, I wondered if anyone forgot we're talking about politicians.

I usually check Politifact if I want to check something. The Pants on Fire section is always interesting to read.

I mean to me it's amazing to watch.
Are one parties lies supposed to carry less weight than the other party?
Does one party actually think we won't know their guys are lying when it is pretty obvious?
Does the other party not realize I am also speaking about THEM?
I posted this once before in a hub but it is so on target:

          Yeah, pretty much that.

Although there are good guys in both groups, and worse guys in both groups.

Well it gets really tiresome this daily grind of supposedly one group wears white and shines in the sunlight and the other eats dead burnt babies.
It's all from a horses rear end and it's not how we should be deciding who leads us.

              Focus on policy and record.

If you do, it's simple. Mitt's the best choice we have.
