WaPo's Milbank on Obama's snubbing of world leaders:

Dana Milbank called it "bordering on scandalous" that Obama didn't have time to meet with the UN General Assembly in Manhattan but found time to appear on The View. Milbank doesn't cut Romney any slack, either, but Romney isn't POTUS.

Is that true, Obama has not taken questions from the press in six months?  Wouldn't be surprising, dictators do not take questions!

In what way is Obama any different from Bush or Romney?

@RB he ended two wars...bush would have opened two more fronts...one in libya which he would have taken lead into and another Iran...

Which wars did Obama end?  Could it be that the troops left Iraq on schedule, a schedule set up by George Bush?   What is the second war that Obama ended?

            Obama has dropped bombs in:

            Pakistan

            Somalia

            Yemen

            Libya

And who knows where else?  Obama is the ultimate war-monger, targeting his own civilians, targeting civilians worldwide actually,  it is not that Obama has blood on his hands, the man bathes in blood!

Obama invaded Libya without congressional approval - one of many instances of dictatorial behaviour from the current administration.

And the invasion was based on lies and propaganda, there is no evidence that Ghaddafi was targeting civilians, in fact just the opposite, civilian deaths were quite numerous once NATO started dropping their "peace bombs"!

Hello? He didn't need congressional approval. It was a UN action. Pay attention.

So basically he is being criticized for not meeting with NATO leaders on one hand, and condemned for working with NATO leaders on the other.

Go figure. Have you ever heard of Max Headroom? The series was cancelled for being too accurate.

It isn't his job to meet with the UN leaders right now. He has people for that, like our ambassador to the UN. I believe a remedial civics class is in order.

As it turns out, I was mistaken about the UN action. It was NATO. I remember reading about this stuff somewhere, "There will be wars and rumor of wars, and crybabies whining everywhere . . . "

What is the motivation for Obama to not sit down with world leaders?  Correct, he fears they will question him on his illegally assumed authority to kill human beings at a whim!

Obama has ended the war in Iraq twice... accompanied by a 'promise kept' image posted on his twitter account.

Of course, if he had agreed to speak with those at the UN some here would be condemning that...

I guess we should prop dictators like Gadaffi up rather than allow the population to decide. Lybia was not invaded by the US.
