   It's OK to disagree with the governments version of what caused the twin towers and building 7 to collapse on 9/11.  A new campaign for truth, and a recent poll shows that 1 in 2 Americans have doubts about the official version of 9/11 as well . . .
   
   When you watch the video, your own eyes tell you that Building 7 was brought down by controlled demolition, just like you have seen many times before on TV. Yet the government tells you it was not. Do you believe your own eyes or your government? As always, the choice is yours . . .

               On the 12th anniversary of 9/11, a new national survey by the polling firm YouGov reveals that one in two Americans have doubts about the government’s account of 9/11, and after viewing video footage of World Trade Center Building 7’s collapse, 46% suspect that it was caused by a controlled demolition. Building 7, a 47-story skyscraper, collapsed into its own footprint late in the afternoon on 9/11.
               The poll was sponsored by ReThink911, a global public awareness campaign launched on September 1. The campaign includes a 54-foot billboard in Times Square and a variety of transit and outdoor advertising in 11 other cities, all posing the question, “Did you know a third tower fell on 9/11?”
               Among the poll’s findings:
               •    38% of Americans have some doubts about the official account of 9/11, 10% do not believe it at all, and 12% are unsure about it;
               •    46%, nearly one in two, are not aware that a third tower collapsed on 9/11. Of those who are aware of Building 7’s collapse, only 19% know the building’s name;
               •    After seeing video footage of Building 7′s collapse:
               o    46% are sure or suspect it was caused by controlled demolition, compared to 28% who are sure or suspect fires caused it, and 27% who don’t know;
               o    By a margin of nearly two to one, 41% support a new investigation of Building 7′s collapse, compared to 21% who oppose it.

               “The poll shows quite clearly what we already knew. Most people who see Building 7’s collapse have trouble believing that fires brought it down,” said Richard Gage, a member of the American Institute of Architects and founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, the campaign’s major sponsor. “It simply doesn’t look like a natural building collapse, and that’s because all the columns have been removed at once to allow it to come down symmetrically in free-fall. The evidence of controlled demolition is overwhelming. As more and more people learn about Building 7, public demand for a new investigation grows. People want the truth.”
               According to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), normal office fires caused the failure of a single column, starting a chain reaction that brought Building 7 down. More than 2,000 architects and engineers have signed the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth petition that questions NIST’s explanation of the building’s collapse.
               “Even the government’s own computer model disproves its theory. It looks nothing like the actual collapse,” said Tony Szamboti, a mechanical engineer from the Philadelphia area. “Not only that, they refuse to release the data that would allow us to verify their model. In the world of science, this is as bad as it gets. I’m glad most people can look at the collapse and see the obvious.”
               
               The ReThink911 campaign calls for a new investigation into Building 7’s collapse, as well as the destruction of the Twin Towers. The YouGov poll and the ad campaign were financed with more than $225,000 in donations from thousands of supporters.

                  So you show 1200 people a beautiful video, with fantastic PR, and find that 600 "have doubts".  Only results from people that have searched out a online conspiracy site and watched the propaganda video are considered. 
                  
                  Tweaking the sample demographics to produce specific poll results is well understood and cannot possibly get any worse than that.

                  Here are a few facts your video does not mention. They are not mentioned, I believe, because they do not fit into the grandiose theory that hundreds of American civilians conspired to kill other Americans just so President Bush could declare war.
                  
                  FACT: Large perimeter columns from the WTC1 hit WTC7 as the tower collapsed early on 9/11/01.
                  
                  The extent of the damage listed by www.wtc7.com:
                  ”Heavy debris on Vesey Street and WTC 7 Promenade.
                  SW Corner Damage -- floors 8 to 18.
                  South face damage between two exterior columns - roof level down 5 to 10 floors, extent not known.
                  Middle South Face Damage up to 1/3 the width 10th floor to ground.
                  Large debris hole ¼ width of South Face near center around 14th floor.
                  South Face damage 1/4 width above 5th floor.
                  South Face 8th/9th floor damaged from inside.
                  Visible south wall gone with more damage to west, 2 elevator cars dislodged into elevator lobby”]/i].
                  
                  FACT: Building 7 had fires raging out of control, had a huge gaping hole plus a gash more than 20 floors high on the south face, and a the massive load of 40 stories above them.

                  FACT: NYFD using a transit saw the building was beginning to lean to the South and by mid-afternoon ordered all firefighters and rescue teams away from the building.
                  [i]”But then you looked on the south side of 7 there had to be a hole 20 stories tall in the building, with fire on several floors. Debris was falling down on the building and it didn’t look good.” – Firefighter Boyle
                  
                  “We were pretty sure that 7 World Trade Center would collapse. Early on, we saw a bulge in the southwest corner between floors 10 and 13, and we had put a transit on that and we were pretty sure she was going to collapse… But by about 2 o’clock in the afternoon we realized this thing was going to collapse.”
                  
                  FACT: Seasoned New York City fire fighters could see the building was going to collapse.
                  
                  “I ordered the evacuation of an area sufficient around to protect our members, so we had to give up some rescue operations that were going on at the time and back the people away far enough so that if 7 World Trade did collapse, we [wouldn't] lose any more people.                   FACT: WTC7 did not collapse in its own footprint but fell to the South East around 5 p.m. {1}
                  
                  NYFD officers at the scene evaluated the integrity of WTC7 and ordered an evacuation of all personnel. There are those who believe they made a good call that saved a lot of lives. Nevertheless, some in this forum want us to believe those fire fighters were lying to cover up a controlled demolition ordered by President Bush.
                  
                  Eye witnesses reported seeing the 20 + story gash carved out of the south side of WTC7. This picture indicates that the south side of the building fell first pulling the exterior of the north on top of itself. Notice the Northern walls (foreground of debris) lying on the top of the rubble. The majority of the building fell to the southeast corner (upper left of the debris pile) based on debris locations. This is consistent with a normal collapse by fire.

Never the less, some will cut and paste uncertain theories to slander government officials and to justify their personal distrust of the government. They rely on hypothetical conjecture to accuse hundreds of people including the Mayor, NYC firefighters, policemen, journalists, and eyewitnesses, of conspiracy to cover up mass murder. It places them within a group who do not believe such serious charges demand levels of certainty that go beyond the norm. How sad for them.

   9/11 conspiracy theorists are just as slimy, dishonest and deluded as Holocaust deniers. You claim to know it was a controlled demolition by simply eyeballing it...okay. Are you a demolitions expert? Are you qualified to question these facts? There is tons of information online debunking the B.S. of you 9/11 truthers.
   
   But let's just look at this rationally for a second. On the one hand, you have the idea the Osama Bin Laden and a group of extremists with an axe to grind orchestrated an attack on the U.S. and then openly TOOK RESPONSIBILITY for them.
   
   On the other hand, we have your theory. That a bunch of people in the U.S. got together and put up an elaborate plot to destroy a critical centre of trade, eliminate the Pentagon (crippling their military intelligence) and attempt to destroy the White House. Meanwhile, it involves thousands of co-conspirators who...um, where was I?
   
   Seriously, you watch a video and all of a sudden you're an expert. Well, I watched a video about open heart surgery, so I guess that means I can perform my first operation. Can I practice on you, maybe?

   I used to fight forest fires all over the country, we often would fly up to remote locations atop high mountains that were burning, called "Alpine Meadows". Some of the trees up there were too big round to fall with our chainsaws, so we used dynamite. We could fall a tree in any particular direction quite accurately.
   
   My point is that if it was intentionally demolished, why would they actually make it look like a controlled demolition? They could have made it fall in any particular direction depending on where they placed the charges intentionally making it not look like a free fall straight down. That's what I would've done. Easy peasy.

   Just because some guy with credentials comes out and spouts an opinion doesn't make it true. What about all the other people who are equally or better qualified that tell you there isn't a conspiracy?
   
   Again, I reiterate the lack of qualification argument I made before. The U.S. general isn't a demolitions expert. If you think that any old title provides credibility, then, well, that's a common cop-out for your species. That's like a dentist evaluating a chemistry essay. The dentist may be an expert, but not in the field I require.   
   
   I realize common sense isn't your thing, but let me try you anyway. Don't you think that it would've been a lot easier for the government to simply blow up the buildings and tell everyone that terrorists did it? Why hijack these planes and kill their passengers? And who the hell did they hire to willingly commit suicide for whatever agenda these conspirators were pushing? Too bad you're not one of those people willing to blow himself up. The mean IQ of the country would skyrocket.
