I believe that some are just theories and others have been suicidal, or simple accidents, if all of these people are supposedly deceased due to being slain and none of them actually came out about the truth, then why is Monica Lewinsky and all of her buddies still alive? She came out publicly along with Jennifer Flowers etc. and they are all still alive. People due die of heart attacks, vehicle accidents, gunshot wounds, spousal abuse, abandonment , age, unfortunately I just don't buy it. Sad things happen to powerful people, we have seen a lot of death around our family from family to friends and we did not have our hand in their deaths, suicides or health due to there passing. I don't think the Clinton's had anything to due with any of the deaths, it was coincidence. Just an opinion. smile

If you believe the democrats and the republicans are two separate entities you've been sadly misguided. Follow the money.

Sweetiepie: I think conspiracy theories is an engaging way of learning to connect dots. Are they true? Are they false? Well, at least you've done some reading and learned interesting things along the way.

Keep in my that conspiracies do afterall, exist. JFK, Watergate, Monica Lewinski, the Ides of March..you get the picture. smile

      Sincerely,
      G|M

It must be remembered that the first job of any conspiracy, whether it be in politics, crime
or within a business office, is to convince everyone else that no conspiracy exists. The
conspirators success will be determined largely by their ability to do this.

I don't buy into the conspiracy theories either.
A quick search on Snopes.com brings this up as a false rumour

As usual, and always painful to have to see.

For these wild theories, yes, Snopes.com is very useful--and perhaps to check against before one posts something.

A better thread would be "Too many deaths around Bush to be coincidence'.  Oh, right...thousands of those deaths weren't coincidence, just the "unfortunate circumstances" of a war he never should've started.

Get a life and give up on kicking the Clintons.  It's been done ad nauseum already.  If you need something to occupy your time, visit any Veterans Admin Hospital and do whatever you can to cheer up one of Bush's "unfortunates" who didn't die in Iraq.

Yea, there is a lot of truth to that.  I had some personal dealings with the Clinton's during their Governorship. They are quite anti-christian.

    1. SweetiePie profile image78
SweetiePieposted 15 years agoin reply to this

This is the type of mentality that elects people like president Bush.  The Clintons are Christians, but you know they do not have to be, and honestly why should we care about their religion.  Clinton was a good president and I am sorry people are still finding dirt on him.  He was not perfect, but like a few have noted what about all the things that happened under Bush.  This list of people associated with Clinton that died, well people get on with years and this happens.  Cannot believe people buy into these conspiracy theories.

Lita: Isn't snopes.com kinda like wikipedia? To settle for either of those sources as fact is an easy out. I was hoping to inspire more in depth skill (which I don't have).

Jama: If there had been a list this long sent around about Bush I would have posted it too, please refrain from judgment of someone you don't know...me ! Isn't it better to look at all information, than to be biased on either side? I am not nieve enough to think that people in government are clean. I find it a better stance to not be biased right or left when it comes to political representatives.

Did you actually read the Snopes report and their references? It certainly shows more research and logic than the unsubstantiated claims of a mass email that has been doing the rounds for years.

      Here's the Bush list! -
      http://www.georgewalkerbush.net/bushdeathlist.htm

Of course, there is corruption everywhere and there may well be one of two 'real' connections, but these lists are just pap.

Note that Ron Brown appears on both lists - making the point that the facts can be twisted to fit the bill (or the george).

      1. JamaGenee profile image78
JamaGeneeposted 15 years agoin reply to this

Many of the people on these lists were connected to shady characters with no connection to the Clintons.  South American drug dealers, for instance.  Many on the Bush list were high-up employees of Enron and Arthur Anderson, and committed suicide when that mess unraveled.  Others were old and died of natural causes.

A little food for thought: any real conspiracy would not involve so many deaths by gunshot. Much easier to make it look like a person walked out the door and never came back. The skeletal remains, if ever found, would be devoid of any evidence to determine cause of death.

Snopes is I believe a good beginning.  Research takes skill and investigative depth, it is true.  After a while, you begin to be able to tell, just by looking at the way it is written (not always the case)if it rings valid or not.

Investigative reporting is what we have reporters for.  Unfortunately, not many real ones are left!

You are right in saying not all of government is clean.  I would recommend you read Noam Chomsky--although he is something of a libertarian, he does lean decidedly left, so...you might not like that.  But that's what he does.  Reads and reads and reads and does a very good job interpreting the morass.

Snopes is NOT Wikipedia. False equivalence. You're dismissing them solely because you don't agree with what they've come up with. No, Virginia, there is no Clintonian conspiracy.

    It's truly an eye-opening thing.
I am always pissed when I see the "No one died when Clinton lied" bumper stickers, I just want to scream "HELLO! VINCE FOSTER ANYONE?!?"

It's only a small part of the corruption that goes on in government...

C'mon, strictly coincidence.  Some people just attract suicidal and accident prone friends. One more recent item, an officer that was involved in the passport event before the election, and who was thought to be cooperating with the investigation was shot and killed in his car last week. Guess who one of the passport info looked at belonged to.  Yes, hillary clinton. OK, just more coincidence. Nothing to see here, move along.
