According to  yesterday's Election 2016 poll results, Hillary Clinton won the California Democratic primary.   However, Bernie Sanders refuse to concede to Hillary Clinton.  It is obvious that Hillary Clinton is the Democratic winner.  Why WON'T Bernie Sanders bow out of the Democratic campaign race?  There is no way that Bernie Sanders will win the Democratic campaign race!    It seems that Bernie Sanders will persist until the end.  He seems to be hellbound to win the Democratic campaign!   YOUR thoughts?

Bernie won't be running in 2020, I'm sure and he doesn't have any heirs.

Yesterday, NBC News reported that Clinton’s “new tally includes pledges from over a dozen new superdelegates as well as her accumulation of 36 pledged delegates in Sunday’s Puerto Rico primary.”

Correctly so, Sanders’ spokesman called it a “rush to judgment”, saying, “Secretary Clinton does not have and will not have the requisite number of pledged delegates to secure the nomination. She will be dependent on superdelegates who do not vote until July 25 and who can change their minds between now and then.” .... That is true!

AP and NBC News jumped the gun and called the entire primary race for Clinton before six states had even voted. Sanders' narrative that “the game is rigged" is also true.

It pisses me off a little, because Bernie has run a good campaign, he must have felt like he got hit in the back of the head with a pool cue.

Bernie is a fighter, and I like that. Hillary could die of a heart attack yet.

In other words, this election has been stolen. I don't think we need to look out for the Bernie people like the AP is saying.

It is quite understandable, even reasonable that one is a fighter if h/she has possibilities of winning or succeeding.  However, if there is a scant or no chance of winning or succeeding, one has to quit.  That would be the logical thing to do.  Bernie Sanders should quit, withdraw from the presidential race.  He ISN'T going to win.  Hillary Clinton will psychologically, even psychically SINK Bernie.

Over 50 % of  American voters don't feel trustworthy of Hillary either , The Clinton mafia- dynasty is finally catching up to her , along with her obvious  hypocrisy towards mainstram Americans , why else would she  dis- the rich and profess  income in-equality while wearing a twelve thousand dollar Armani*  coat ?

Yea , vote Hillary Armani* Rodham Clinton !

I am not for a socialist party, but Sanders is anti- establishment. His supporters' votes need to count.  This is America! On the day before people voted the establishment declared Hillary the nominee saying she had more superdelegates. They stole the nomination from Bernie who clearly has more votes. She has less votes this time, then when she lost to Obama.

I want Bernie to stay in the race and say, "The system is rigged."  This is the same thing the RNC tried to do to Trump, and he said loud and clear, "The system is rigged."  They stopped that.  I don't know if that will help Bernie, because she is establishment and a crime boss in DC.  She is the Globalists' (the corrupt rulers of this world, the secretive Bilderburg Group) choice and they don't care who the people want.

The media hasn't been fair to Bernie (like with Trump), the media is run by the rulers. Sanders and Trump both need to keep hammering on that and exposing the media for what it is, also. Hopefully, millions more people will wake up and realize the whole system is rigged.

Heaven forbid that Hillary becomes president because we're then heading for total tyranny. IMHO

Why would we trust the people who rigged the system in the first place?  They are the very corrupt people, that we the people need to vote out.  Their time has come and gone.

The way the system is rigged is just another devastating blow that will help to bring the Clinton Crime Family down.   Bernie has the cohoonas to not back down and keep swinging.

When Sanders went to the White House to meet with Obama, he was offered the VP position.  Sanders did not accept the offer, and will stand his ground.  Like him or not, I have to admire his determination when the deck has been stacked against him from the start.

Its not over till the fat lady sings!

Its over for Sanders !    Sanders is one of the original riggers- Of -the -rigged -system  though and that is exactly what shallow minded voters will never understand . Think about it  , always the perfect thing said that shallow entitlee's  want to hear , coming from someone who has O accomplishment to begin with  in the last 40 years or more !.    Someone who has "suffered" a career of politics -from -the -start .

How exactly was that going to change anything - Didn't you guys learn anything about the LAST- hope- and- change?

              Repeat after me .......................DUH !

                "DUH!"   wink   I hear you.

I'm aware of Sanders track record.  I know he never had a chance of winning the election the way its been rigged.  I am hoping that some people might wake up and say, "That's wrong, that's corrupt, who would ever support a Clinton for president again!"  Voting for the status quo isn't going to change a thing in DC...but, people keep on hoping for different results (its called insanity).

I know you are awake. C'mon, you gotta' admit it was a pretty good pitch.

What I think is insanity is thinking Trump isn't a megalomaniac who is ill suited for the office of the President. He is as horrible an option as is Hillary. But, those who have supported him and put him in the position of being the Republican nominee are too blind to see this.

A "FALSE Comparison" Fostered by FOX Loser Snooze Channel to try to DRAG Hillary DOWN into the Gutter with CON-Man Trump ~

In Reallity, there is ZERO Comparison between the two, Hillary is probably the most Qualified Individual to seek OUR Presidency while Trump is simply a "BAD Joke" gone Horribly WRONG and who might be headed straight for Prison Soon given his Massive Legal Problems which include De-Frauding Thousands of AMERICANs with his "Fake Trump University", Attacking & Threatening Hispanic Federal Judges etc etc ~

Moreover, their Respective Platforms are like "Night & Day" ~ Hillary will RAISE the Minimum Wage for Working Americans while Trump would try to LOWER Wages, Hillary will continue to Foster Health Insurance for ALL, while Trump would go BACKWARDs as usual and STRIP nearly 20 Million if not ALL Americans from their Insurance ~ Trump is a Mentally Un-Stable Racist, while Hillary is Even-Tempered, Intelligent & Inclusive ~

The LIST of Differences Travel into INFINITY & If anyone honestly thinks they will allow "Drumpfy" Trump within 500 MILEs of OUR Nuclear Weapon LAUNCH Buttons they are SADLY Delusional ~ sad

I believe Bernie's idea of winning is not limited to securing the Democratic nomination. He wants a revolution from the people, and I don't think he's done fighting for that.

  2. ProblematicFave profile image67

It's not that he still thinks he has a chance to win the nomination - he just wants to keep the issues that are important to him (especially income inequality and financial reform) in the spotlight for as long as possible to force Clinton and Trump to address them.

Political capital !  He might have a huge amount of capital  for having some say in the upcoming election , what if she said .....will he take the VP slot ?  Or trump did ?  Or he can get some distance with HIS idea's and ideals  in her administration ? That is exactly why so many stay in when we think they ought to drop out .Bernie can never win with the DNC rules of super delegates ,   its been stacked from the beginning , why else has Hillary gotten any traction  ?   Without the gender button , without the Obama  backing she'd be toast .

I'll  give him  that , except here in Vermont he has served in politics for 40 years +or -   and not much has been done legislatively , that has his name on it ! That makes him an insider that is part of the problem ,not the solution , ever heard  that saying , "lead , follow or get out of the way " ?  Bernie should get out of the way !

Live to Learn, you started in a thread you OP'ed recently and wisely stressed fiscal responsibility.  No one could argue on that point.  (well, we need to make allowances, wink)  You surprises me with that insight.

Trump is a fiscal conservative, who repeatedly proclaims "I am focusing on jobs", ... "Smart trade deals". He wants to take things in the direction of paying down the national debt, stop the over spending and waste, and bring back jobs. He has solutions, he isn't perfect and doesn't know everything, and this isn't about Trump anyway. Its about fixing the economy.  Trump has the business experience nationally and internationally.

The economic problems we have stems from the Bill Clinton WH. Bush2 and Obama have done nothing to fix the problem and downward trend to an economic collapse.  But, some people seem to like the Washington Crime Families, each to their own I guess.

Well, I did enjoy seeing that you do know how important fiscal responsibility is, or so I believed.  (?) smile

Fiscal responsibility is important. But, I don't trust a word Trump says. He is pandering to those who feel disenfranchised and the mentally challenged. He has proven he will say whatever he thinks these groups want to hear. And they eat it up.

I am not going to eat the pudding. It's poisoned.

Trump has been saying the same things for the past 30 years or so.  He isn't pandering, LL. Google that and hear it right out of Trump's mouth, or not.

    Whatever!

Trump has filed for corporate bankruptcy how many times? That doesn't sound very fiscally responsible to me. It sounds like a man who will use law to weasel out of responsibility.

Trump has made it clear over the years that he is thin skinned, has no respect for women and has one of the largest egos I've ever witnessed.

Trump flipped around twenty times on abortion until he said what he thought what people wanted to hear.

That's all he has done this election cycle. Said whatever he thought would garner him support. I don't see him as any different from the other politicians on that count. We have no idea what the man will do if elected.

You, too, could google but you appear to want to hear only Trump approved sound bites.

But, you appear to have already known that since, according to the urban dictionary, the word 'whatever' is used in an argument to admit that you are wrong without admitting it so the argument is over.

I'll say one thing , you are right !

Hillary sure hasn't filed for bankruptcy ever has she,  She's always fed  well off the public trough !

Hillary has also never flip flopped on any issue in here entire political  career , Has she , Why , because when you talk out of both sides of your mouth , you 've got every issue well covered !.

Hillary also constantly says anything  she can to get herself votes or political capital!

Hillary , an Ivy  League  princess  has never once walked in the shoes of a working woman .

Hillary should be scorned by every woman alive for enabling  the atrocious  behavior of a sexual predator, her husband ,  from destroying women's lives AND defending him . Yet , calls Trump a sexist.

Bernie IS clueless , but Hillary knows exactly what she's doing - Do not be fooled .

You're preaching to the choir there on the Hillary issue. However, her shortcomings do not negate the fact that Trump has a boatload of his own shortcomings. Downing Hillary doesn't raise Trump up any higher than maybe halfway up the pile in the sludge pool.

That doesn't mean that people can't get them.  It would almost take a full auto to kill that many people without the shooter being interrupted in some way.

A lady who was in the club is saying (on video) that she is sure there was more than one shooter.  She looked like a tranny, and seemed very believable because of the rawness of her story.  She described hearing the sound of bullets going into peoples' flesh and hitting bone, and the blood...  It would be horrifying!

We may never know the full truth. Seems to be many different stories.
