Today FBI Director James Comey indicated that the FBI investigation found that although Hillary Clinton may be careless regarding handling of her office e-mails, it has been concluded that Ms. Clinton didn't commit any criminal offenses. Your take on this?
Not surprising. Although she didn't bother to abide by the rules for emails that are set up, there were no secrets involved and thus no criminal offense. Just a failure to follow rules, not a criminal offense chargeable in a court of law.
Wish I could do that, though.
Maybe you could become close personal friends with Lynch.
ADDED:
The FBI rewrote the law to get Hillary off the hook.
You see Hillary is a Democratic insider. She is protected by VERY HIGH, WELL PLACED Democratic friends. Nothing was ever going to happen to her because she is......PROTECTED. Hillary is the Democrat's favorite &/or golden child who can do no wrong.
Well, if she were jailed, or even prosecuted, what would happen to the Democratic party? Pretty scary thought...to a liberal.
Yes it would be scary to the liberal. To many Liberals, my Hillary, RIGHT or WRONG. They refuse to acknowledge the wrong that Hillary has done. If it was a Republican, there would be proverbial pitchforks- asking for the highest penalty imaginable!
Not true. Both Condi Rice and Colin Powell used private email servers. And there were lots more embassy bombings and deaths under George W. Bush. Nobody seems to worked up about any of those.
That's ridiculous. If she broke a law, she should be prosecuted. They decided she didn't break a law or that if she did, there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute. Happens all the time with all kind of criminals.
Just because we're not foaming at the mouth over it doesn't mean we excuse Hilary's behavior. I'm loathe to vote for her, but I will not put our country at risk by voting for that ignorant clown. At least Hillary has knowledge, intellect, sophistication, poise, and restraint. I see none of these qualities in Little Donnie.
Not scary at all, we would simply turn to Bernie or Liz Warren, either of whom could defeat Donald Trump.
Wilderness, I'm a bit surprised at the reasonableness of your response, but you always strike me as reasonable. That said, one had to really read between the lines on Comey's comments, but it struck me that what he was saying was that such behavior was so pervasive within government that prosecuting Clinton would open up a can of worms that nobody would want to deal with.
Yes, that's about what I got as well. Small infractions of most laws are not enforced...until someone from the wrong side of the tracks, without an expensive lawyer to get them off, appears before the investigators. So Clinton, after committing several serious crimes, will not be prosecuted.
But reasonable? It was intended as sarcasm, not being reasonable. For that is the other half - the party would fall apart, losing not just this election but far more, and that cannot be tolerated. The rich and famous will not allow it.
The list of possible prosecutions would be staggering - Colin Powell, Condi Rice. It seems the entire State Department would be in jail. That said, it does seem that Hillary has gotten an inordinate amount of the blame. This was a pattern of behavior in the State Department from long before she was there. It sounds like a bunch of old people who aren't too smart about technology. And the current Republican meme about General Petraeus is ridiculous. He knowingly passed classified information to his mistress.
No, not scary to liberals at all. We have many qualified people to take her place.
To reiterate, Hillary is the Democratic pet who has VERY HIGHLY PLACED friends. When one has HIGHLY PLACED friends, one needn't worry as h/she will be protected & every means will be exhausted to exonerate/ clear him/her of any wrongdoing. It is the LIKEABILITY factor & Hillary is the likeable STAR in Democratic circles. We all knew that Hillary will be cleared of e-mails & Benghazi from the start. The "investigations" were pure orchestrations to give the American public a semblance of justice. Hillary had it made in the shade from the start, c'mon now, people. Smell THAT coffee, Hillary wasn't going to be indicted regarding the e-mail & Benghazi incidents. Hillary is LIKEABLE & have friends & connections in VERY HIGH places. N-E-X-T.......
Its hard to stay in faith believing that justice will be served here on earth for the corrupt criminal politicians, it seems like denial or naivety I'm sure. We gotta' have hope!
Flashback! ... What a joke.
Oh, I know that the Bilderberg group put Bill Clinton in the WH after his first meeting with the wealthy rulers that own him, and they own Hillary.
And in case you watch Fox News, this is the quality of the commentating.

What have Hillary Clinton's leaked emails truly revealed? How damning are they actually?Would someone in a less powerful position be more likely to suffer legal penalties for the same actions Mrs. Clinton has performed?
