Why's the left so out of joint with a centrist Trump ?

In truth  Trump IS a centrist politically .
    - He's promised an Obama-Care Lite
    - He's all about more stimulus - no matter what you call it
    - He is all for more Federal involvement in our daily lives ,
    - He's allowing if not promoting dissention in the streets
    - He's for pulling in our military involvement overseas
    - He's softened his rhetoric on virtually every one of his stands including immigration
    -  A Chameleon at best ,  You should all stop whining

Obviously the left is on a feeding frenzy of perpetual entitlements from a nanny state ,   more is always better , If a TRUE conservative approach to governing were going to happen , It isn't with Trump ?

He SAYS he is about stimulus, I will believe it when I see it.

More federal involvement means sticking his and the right wing probosis in the personal decisions of others. True right wing gruel, you guys may live on it, but it turns my stomach.

Trump has not the authority to stop peaceful protests and he will never will get it. It will not be permitted.

Pull in our military involvement while increasing military outlays, how many dictators claim the lack of strength as an excuse to rearm?

He softened his rhetoric as his handlers told him to shut up or get into it that much deeper. The man is human rubbish that cannot really change his stripes or Imsay has yet to to demonstrate that to me.

When his policies more directly show a centrist bent, then I will call off the dogs.

Credence, do you honestly believe that the right is any worse than the left in pushing their agenda into the lives of the average american citizen? Are you so blind?

That depends on where you lean politically, as there is no longer no such thing as neutral. You are either for a plutocracy based on power and privilege or as, conservatives always say, being against misdirected efforts toward a fair and just society. I know what side on stand on.

So speaks one of the far ends. Luckily, those of us in the middle don't walk around with blinders on.

The problem that many who say they are in the middle are not at all, so actually do wear blinders without realizing that they do.

Yes, well, that may be so; but I doubt it in this case.

Odd how "fair and just" always seems to come down to taking from one to give to another.  Seems inextricably entwined with a plutocracy based on power, doesn't it?

Better the middle class and the poor benefit than the aristocracy, but I know that you would have a problem with that in principle.

Of course I do - basic ethics do not allow the playing Robin Hood according to personal opinion of need of others OR personal opinion of what "too much" is.

Your views are farther left than his obviously  , but he is still no more right than dead center .

          Yes, Center Right...
          That is not centrist.

If you think Trump is Center of Right ;  You obviously  really don't understand politics at all  .

How is it that Obama  left is an extreme and  that doesn't bother some here especially of the left ,  but  Trump --center  is  now called far right ?    How blind the left is in  fighting  EVERY move he makes and it's simply soo obvious - They simply hate him .

    Where's the  Reagan-esque  right ?
