Here is my idea on this important topic. I hope all Americans from both side of the aisle will do some thinking and suggest ideas...
He can change the culture by offering immunity to Edward Snowden.
We need to send a message to NSA and the intelligence community that they work for us the American people. Don't mess with our privacy in the name of security.
If they don't accept that, they can leave or resign.
We don't need 1984 big brother watching our every move and listening to our conversations and storing the metadata on a huge server farm in Utah.
The latest problem regarding unmasking of Americans by the intelligence leakers is just the tip of the iceberg. What about Senators and Congressmen and Ambassadors and even Supreme Court justices... There privacy and independence is crutial to our democracy. Can you imagine any of those people being compromised by foreign or domestic intelligence?
This is serious stuff that can't be glossed over.
Edward Snowden was the whistleblower that started this. He should be rewarded for coming forward at great risk to himself. Where is the justice?
