      Good luck getting Democrats to cut the size or operation of government.  The philosophy is that it doesn't matter what the costs, there is only one direction for government - to ever greater size and ever greater control.

               My Dad--a former Omaha beach D-Day and Battle of the Bulge survivor--had a saying when he ran into anyone spouting lies and misinformation. He'd tell the person, "that's a load of horse shit."  Now I know what he meant and am often tempted to use this response to certain posters.

   Tax cuts promote job growth, job growth means more revenue, more revenue means government still gets more money because more people are paying taxes, more tax payers, means budget passes and national debt shrinks while infrastructure grows.
   That's historically proven free market economics.
   Socialism, not so much....

      Unless the left grows simultanously  all of the entitlements driving us straight into price escalations , inflation , more infrastructure , free education , health care .Thus dragging down all economic advancements .

            Mainly the stockholders who will simply buy more stock instead of creating more jobs or paying higher salaries for the workers. Watch and see, a Republican presidency always leaves a mess for the Democrats to clean up. A vicious cycle...

   Watching the news yesterday I heard a reporter contend that most Americans trust the democrats more, to handle the budget. We all laughed at the thought. Most understand that a fiscally responsible Democrat is a mythical creature.

      LOL  Most understand that a fiscally responsible politician is but a mythical creature!  Past the lowest local level, at least - I'd say that most town politicians are honest and try, even if they are untrained and inexperienced in funding a town.
