Why do chocolate bars look smaller now we've grown up? it's a conspiracy
It is part of a much bigger conspiracy; mass mind control, created by making people think that changing 'Opal Fruits' to 'Starburst' was harmless...
They ARE smaller. Look at the odd-ball ounce sizes they now come in. This applies to other grocery products as well.
Because of government funny money inflation, manufacturers reduce sizes to meet a price point, rather than raise a price for a given size. After awhile, they have to bite the bullet and make the size a little bigger with a dramatic price increase. Then the cycle starts again.
