Why is only Carbon dioxide considered for climate change and not any other gases?
Because of the money involved with trading carbon credits, that's why!
Carbon Dioxide is the most common but manageable component of the Greenhouse affect. In order to stem global warming countries need to manage the over production of carbon Dioxide. Sure there is money making involved in implementing the rules and regulations but there is more money in industrial over production. Money runs countries not environmentalists. The excuse that it's all to make money is illogical.
Not only is CO2 the most prevalent it is also the most damaging, with the highest radiative forcing - basically the difference between incoming and outgoing radiation energy - too much incoming and not enough outgoing, more global warming.
