Should The Government Make Marriage Licenses Renewable Every Year To Fund Social Health Care?
or to raise sufficient revenue to support the less privileged in the society?
Social health care is not under the purview of the government anyway.
The federal government can't do this because marriage licenses and medicaid are under the control of individual states. Also, people who don't update their marriage license? What then? Are they divorced? The states make more money on divorces than on marriage licenses. A bureaucratic nightmare.
