    because they're extremists.
because they're extremist rightists who dress up as leftists to make everyone believe leftists are causing the trouble.
because they are neither and see it as a good excuse for a punch up.
there are  government agents who infiltrate the groups to stir up violence.
there are rightists who infiltrate the group to stir up violence.
take your pick, there are probably loads more choices.
splitting society into a leftist/rightist division is implementing the divide and rule arguement, when you ask questions using those terms you are perpetuating the illusion.

Likely for the same reason you have folks like Sharon Angle threating revolution if she doesn't win.

People get convinced that the electoral process doesn't work.

Because they are somewhat aware of what's going on in the world, as opposed to the vast majority of sleeping sheep.  That being said, any solutions the left have to offer are leftist solutions -- that is, they would just substitute one pile of cr** for the other.

You don't think the establishment doesn't use violence in their own way?  Violence is.  Always has been. Always will.

Mainstream conservatives are either clueless or bought off about the problems of the financial "bankster" establishment.

They seek to bring violence against the everyday violence of established states. The red neck right wing establishment always tries to present itself as "reasonable", with anyone dissenting as"extremist". People with at least one brain cell know better.
