Was there any need for September 11 2000 ,Can it ever be justified ?
First of all you have the wrong dates confused with something else, the event I believe you might be speaking of occurred on September 11th 2001, so nothing can be justified,
Yes, you are right, it is 2001. I do not think that it can be justified that is why I wrote a hub on it, “Why it was on 9/11” because those innocent people that died had nothing to do with whatever point or issue that led to the ugly incident. I do not think that it is a right thing to kill innocent people no matter, their religion or culture but some people may think other wise. And I find it difficult to justify such cause.
agrees with clouds amoung us but perhaps if the question were restated with correct dates the answer would simply be no
It made people pay attention. We are talking about it 9 years later so it must have had some profound effect on many of us. Can it be justified politcally perhaps not, but lives lost at the cost of a war not won can also be justified in personal ways. The whole ordeal is not quite over so we can't possibly see the big picture yet. I don't like to say the deaths of many innocent people can be justified but for me personally, I'll be sure they won't be for nothing.
Your question is philisophical in that can any death be justified?

How can Americans so soon forget September 11th 2001It really makes me sad that for the most part a lot of Americans seem to have forgotten what was done to the USA on the morning of September 11th 2001. They took all the videos off TV of the planes flying into buildings because they said it would...

Considering the number of innocent people killed by gunmen, isn't it time guns were banned? The recent murders at the movie premiere were in a long line of multiple murders by gunmen - some occurring in schools. Should the right to carry guns still be sacrosanct in the USA?

A crane collapse killed almost 100 people in Mecca's mosque on September 11.Is this a sign from God?Considering the Saudi links to the terrorist attacks of Sept 11, including being the birthplace of Osama bin laden, it seems 'almost' like divine justice that the most important symbol of the...

Someone has REALLY done you wrong BIG TIME! You want to "get them back". Will it really make you feel better? What do you think? Is revenge EVER justified, and DOES it feel good - or does it just make you feel worse?
