    First of all you have the wrong dates confused with something else, the event I believe you might be speaking of occurred on September 11th 2001, so nothing can be justified,

    Yes, you are right, it is 2001. I do not think that it can be justified that is why I wrote a hub on it, “Why it was on 9/11”   because those innocent people that died had nothing  to do with whatever point or issue that led to the ugly incident. I do not think that it is a right thing to kill innocent people no matter, their religion or culture but some people may think other wise. And I find it difficult to justify such cause.

    It made people pay attention. We are talking about it 9 years later so it must have had some profound effect on many of us. Can it be justified politcally perhaps not, but lives lost at the cost of a war not won can also be justified in personal ways. The whole ordeal is not quite over so we can't possibly see the big picture yet. I don't like to say the deaths of many innocent people can be justified but for me personally, I'll be sure they won't be for nothing.

    Your question is philisophical in that can any death be justified?
