Why do we say yes, when we really mean no,and vice-versa ?
Because we either are unsure, or just want to be able to say in our mind we said no, when we were guilty about saying yes.
because we are just being nice though sometimes being nice isn't what other people expect from us. sometimes we say the reverse of what we really want to say because we want to be on the safe ground.
Sometimes I think we feel boxed in by the request. In those times we need to approach things differently and attempt to explain our basis for wanting to say "no" to the requestor. Keep this in mind, if you cannot explain it, then maybe you should be saying "yes" because you really don't understand why you want to say "no". Or possibly, our reason for saying "no" does not stand up to muster even in our own mind. WB

When guys say the want to be left alone do they really mean it?I think a lot of girls are like me, when I say I don't want to talk to anybody, I usually do want to talk to someone. Is it different for men?
