I would try to make people see how stupid it is to preach hate and ignorance.I probably wouldn't get to far with a 30 second speech, but would at least do my best to get my point across.

Do what love wants you to do.

Give everybody basic dignity and provide at least subsistence without any conditions. This includes basic shelter, warmth, medical help, and food. All this should be provided without any work from their part.

However, it is human nature to want to rise above subsistence. To go beyond subsistence, provide them with opportunities in jobs, education, business  and access to markets and resources.

No one should be exploited or forced to work for their basic dignity and subsistence.

Vote to legalize Industrial hemp (not pot). It can reduce oil use, end deforestation, slow global warming, replace toxic plastic, fuel vehicles, build homes, provide clothing, and is the worlds most perfect food source.

Cosmetics can be made from hemp as can tampons, removing the issue of bleach poisoning. In the early 1900s it was the single most used crop in the world as it can be made into 25,000 products. In 1938 Popular Mechanics magazine announced hemp was the new billion dollar product. As a matter of fact Henry Ford and Rudolph Diesel built a car out of hemp...that ran on hemp. That's right...the original diesel engine was made to run on hemp oil.

I wrote a Hub which goes into more detail, and also has numerous  educational videos to watch.
