It seems like people do this to get even with someone over a bill they do not want to pay. What it means is that some poor employee has to do a lot of extra work counting pennies for some problem they did not cause. People who do this may not get fined but they do tick off the employees forced to deal with it.
I agree with scauthor1969, but I always understood that money is money, and is good to "pay all debts, public and private". I read in an article the other day that a man was arrested for disorderly conduct for trying to pay a $33.00 bill in pennies. My suggestion: use a bank or a Coinstar machine!

usually, we face this dilemma. In the repationship, boyfriend doesn't work , so his girlfriend shoud pay all the time they go out and eat somewhere. Or, boyfriend earns enough money , so his girlfriend completely...
