When was the last time a total stranger said 'Good Morning' to you?
Well, I'm out in the country and do go far or get out much at all, but a couple years ago when I lived in Dallas it wasn't uncommon. Really though, if I make eye contact with someone I nearly always will greet them first.
About 3 hours ago. Here in Tennessee you have to run to keep people from saying 'good morning' or 'hey' or 'how ya doin'
Just early this morning in town I met a complete stranger, she said good morning to me.
In the military and particualrly the marine Corps, it is taught as part of our customs and courtesies. It is just expected.
I am not sure when someone said it to me, but I said it to two community police officers yesterday when they went by my house as I was going out to get the morning paper. Neither responded.
For me it was a few days ago. I say hello to almost everyone who passes by me.
