Do you feel the term 'sacrifice few to save many' is the right thing to do?
This is a thing that has been dwelling on my mind for a while. When you see, mainly in movies, that maybe a town or village has been quarantined because of a deadly virus when in fact thousands could still be saved and yet said Government will not take the risk for the good of the nation or even the world being infected. This being one example. It also makes me think of what I would feel being in a situation like that? Still having that hope that I would get out, or accept it is my fate. I'd like to know if people would sacrafice fewer for the sake of many in a position of power.
It's based on the greater good. I've said this plenty of time before....the most important aspect is the survival of the human species, which IS the greater good.
