Would remembering basic human principles help to stem the tide of poisonous political partisanship?
“Let us not be blind to our differences – but let us also direct attention to our common interests and to the means by which those differences can be resolved… our most common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children’s future. And we are all mortal” -JFK
No stem cells have a very short shlef life. So it uis a question of whether medical waste should be used for therapy and not a prolife issue. Although I appreciate the politicians lying or being ignorant to a scientific fact and lying to everyone to make a debate.
I think it would DJProfessorK. I've heard people say tha there's never been such a gulf between the parties. Lots of these people hate each other, they don't interact socially or ever. It can't be healthy for the political process to see each other as enemies in politics and in life.

"Poisonous political partisanship?"
Political partisanship is NOT poisonous. It is quite healthy. In fact, partisanship is at the root of the U.S. being a free country and its remaining a free country.
Those who want non-partisan government should relocate to someplace like Cuba, North Korea, Red China or Iran.
