Will Newt take Romney in Florida?

I don't think so.  Newt is too volatile and his past is too muddy.  Romney is a clean liver and is smart with money.  He also is a good middle of the road wheeler dealer who would be able to get our country's work done because he knows how to avoid ruffling feathers.  Newt does not have this quality.

He may. Romney is the establishmentarian candidate. If he gets the nomination, Washington won't really care who takes the general election, the status quo will win either way. Gingrich, with all his volatility, is now the leading antiestablishmentarian in the race, and the votes cast in the primaries are reflecting the public's revulsion with business as usual. It isn't that the voters are happy with Gingrich, it's that they can't stomach another Dole or McCain, which is what Romney represents.

He just might, but I certainly do hope not.

Personally, I despise Gingrich. He is nothing more than a smug, self-righteous hypocrite and racist.
