If reducing taxes, encouraging business and other conservative aims are so great why did our economy
fail under Bush?
Because those policies are about helping the "privileged interest," in the words of Joe Biden.
I don't believe these policies help the working class, deregulation doesn't help us either. good question brother!
Because we're led to believe it will trickle down. Instead it helped the top 1%. To think the wealthy would invest in our economy is just baloney! I fell into that trap when I voted for President Bush. During these worst of worst years, the richer got rich and the rest of us flatlined our incomes or lost considerably! And here again we hear the GOP promising the same thing to create jobs and improve the economy.
Bush was not a conservative. The leftists controlled BOTH houses of Congress at the time of the collaspe. Ask them why it failed on THEIR watch.
