The temperature has been steadily dropping since 1998, look at the temperature graphs, NOT the relational graphs, which have some dandy little forumlae in.
The Earths temperature has been changing, and it will get warmer again, since we are currently exiting from a mini ice age. While the icecaps are shrinking in some areas, they are growing in others.
We have much greater problems in this world than carbon, if we do not protect the rainforests and the great barrier reef, all the polititians will have some severe trouble blowing all that hot air.
I guess it depends on where your live. I am in Saskatachewan and it has never been so messed up. We had virtually no summer. We had blizzards in the beginning of June. It did not get warm until it was supposed to be cold and the warmth lasted less than a week.
It is usually cold in fall, but this year it was 30c in in November and then suddenly it was −30c within 2 days. We had a few days this winter with record breaking cold.
from CBC.ca
"In the Prairies, the top headline was about winter-like weather that refused to end and the region's second-coldest summer in 16 years.
Every city in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and central and northern Alberta endured nine straight months with below-normal temperatures. Case in point: on March 11, the temperature in Regina dipped to –35.9 C. It wasn't the coldest moment of the winter, but no date in mid-March has ever been colder in the city in 127 years of records.”
and
"Edmonton has established a record it would probably rather forget.
The Alberta capital recorded the lowest temperature in North America overnight Saturday — and set a record as the lowest temperature on a Dec. 13 in the city's history — as the current deep freeze established records across the province.
"Edmonton International Airport was the coldest place in Canada," Peter Spyker, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, said Sunday. "It was -46.1 [Celsius] without the wind chill. I believe at one point it got to -58 with the wind chill."
The previous record for Dec. 13 was -36.1 C, set in 2008.”
I don’t know. If there’s global warming it has skipped us completely.

Coldest Russian Winter in 30 years... that's crazy. Everyone knows the planet is getting warmer. Those Russians must be up to something hoarding all that cold air. Can't Al Gore do something about this deep freeze in Russia. Maybe he could work on some charts and graphs showing how...
