Have you boycotted or will you ever boycott anything or anyone?

Will you boycott, or have you ever boycotted a store, a TV show, a brand, a musician and if yes what were the reasons and how did the action you took make you feel?

I have the convenience of a variety of stores within walking distance of my apartment, one of which I frequented being a popular drug chain.  The advantage to this chain is the fact that it is open 24/7 everyday, including holidays.  However, for all the coupons and sale ads, the prices are higher than most other stores in the neighborhood, I assume, due to availability.

My first negative experience was with their extremely high prescription cost.  Since my layoff, I can now no longer afford health insurance.  I was unaware that prescription costs vary tremendously among drugstores. This store is one of the most expensive.

My next objection to this store is the lack of monitoring of the parking lot.  Twice I have been approached by men wandering in the lot pandering for money.  One, in particular, was checking out my purse in the cart, as I was getting ready to put my purchases in my car.  When I quickly handed him $2, he asked for more, saying he could use something to eat. I explained the truth; that I was laid off and could spare no more.  I recently followed an elderly lady out the door and watched as a "strung out" young woman approached and harrassed the customer for a handout.  The elderly woman reacted as I had, hesitantly acquiesing to the young woman's alarming and erratic behavior.  After I observed the customer getting safely into her car, the young woman veered off to another patron approaching the store.  When I got back home, I emailed corporate headquarters, who sent my concern to the local store manager.  He replied that the drugstore takes customer safety very seriously and they were putting cameras on the parking lot.  I have looked and not found any cameras and feel personal safety outweighs any small, bogus savings in the store.  I take my business to stores where I am treated fairly and feel safe.

No I will never ever boycott anything or anyone. Boycotting is like trying to believe that the thing does not existing; it is fooling oneself like the ostrich which hides it's head in sand to feel safe when a sandstorm blows.

Yes I do exercise my right to boycott. For instance, I will not spend my tourism dollars in the state of Arizona because of their biases and the governor's blatant disrespect for our president. I boycott all products made by Koch Industries, including Brawny, Dixie, Vanity Fair, Quilted Northern, Angel Soft and Sparkle. In other words, anything under the Georgia-Pacific banner. Anytime someone buys any of those products they are inadvertently supporting the Tea Party.

It is interesting that you mention Koch Industries because I was just sent an email asking to boycott them because  they are paying for Zimmerman's legal fees. I however, have never used their products so there is nothing got boycott.
