That's been a done deal since the first Republican debate.  The illusion of Ron Paul would have been the only thing that could have put a dent in Obama.

A definate yes. President Obama represents the working man, where as Romney represents big business.

How, may I ask, does Obama represent the working man. I agree with the Romney part but confused on this part.

If it not Ron Paul, it will make no different unless The PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATE GET CONGRESS TO PASS THE GLASS-STEAGALL ACT AND STOP PAYING FOR WALL STREET GAMBLES.all the power is with Wall Street tied with OUR CONGRESS FOR CONTRIBUTION. the people problem is the people WE ELECTED HAS SOLD OUT THE PEOPLE TO WALL STREET.The basic of the people problems is there no even playing field.Wall Street Banks HAVE TO BE SEPARATED FROM COMMERCIAL BANK. Any lost that Wall Street Trading Banks lose they get it back though Commercial Banks which is regulated and back by THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WHICH IS THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES.. it make no different who President as long there no Glass-Steagall Act to stop the stealing of the people.

I wanted Ron Paul to win.  it looks like we are going to be stuck with Obama though.

As a young man from the UK we look across the pond and think "why can't we have Obama?" while we glumly look at David Cameron - a posh, upper class man was educated at a public school and can't relate to 90% of our population.

Obama looks so cool and suave to us. But I followed the entire GOP race and I thought they were all insane (especially Bachman and Santorum) with the exception of Ron Paul.

But now Romney is up and running... it has to be Obama for another four years.

What are your views for and against Obama?
I love American politics and I would love to hear your views

It takes a lot more than 250 characters for that. Suffice it to say for now I gave him the benefit of the doubt until the moment in his acceptance speech he attacked his predecessor with the man sitting right there. Too crass to be tolerated.

Bush wasn't the best though, was he?

He was disastrous, but despite the mantra "It's Bush's fault!" the Obama crowd always trots out in an attempt to run away from its failures, what we're dealing with now isn't.

Hey Alex, Yes, you can have him. He's already destroyed this country enough. I say that tongue in cheek and no offense intended. I don't think we can survive four more years of Obama!
