Is it right for charities, who you already sponsor, to call and ask you for more money?
I sponsor two charities- one an international aid organisation and the second an Irish one that does research into long-term illnesses in children. Now the first one, I have sponsored since I was 19 & about 2 years ago they called and asked me to up my sub- I did. They rang me a while ago to fill in a tax form- I did. They ring me today asking me to up it again (only by a nominal amount I have to admit) & on the phone I reluctanctly agreed. I was completely put on the spot and guilted into it and I don't think that's fair. Interested on opinions.
I have to agree with you. This behavior is unacceptable and makes you wonder about the credibility of this organization.
