Is there a site like the CIA world fact book with stats for individual states within the USA?
yes there is. use your browser and type in which ever state you want to access their state facts records. Here is an example: for Texas, type in Texas State Fact Book Records and enter the official state site link:
http://www.lbb.state.tx.us/Fact_Book/Te … k_2010.pdf
Or for Missouri: and enter their official state site link:
Each state might have a different title for their facts pages, but just make sure you enter the site that belongs to the state, and not places like Wikipedia, or other ports of access.
d. williams is correct. However, there are some commerical books that have facts about each of the 50 states. It will not be in the details as the CIA World Book, but might offer what you want to know. They are available on Amazon.Com and probably other places line Barnes and Nobel and could also be found in the Library.
