Did Anna did right thing by breaking his fast?
Anna Hazare was new face of India against corruption. He was trying to bring very strong Lokpal bill but left it midway to join politics. Did he did right thing by doing this or do you think Anna is now a spent force?
It is a bit confusing, he might get lost somewhere if he joined the politics,
He might feel he can do more from inside than he can from outside, or he might have sold out. He probably should have held to the original purpose, this sudden and unexpected turn of events is likely to make him look weak willed or corrupt himself. Not good when your platform is anti-corruption.
Breaking fast is o.k.- I mean how long can you remain hungry. But it is disappointing, that he decided for a political alternative. How many more political parties? And when they do join, their sole objective is to cling and hold on to their political positions, and put all their force and money in getting reelected to power. There is an old saying, 'Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.' Anna Hazare and his team emerged as a source of inspiration and hope for us Indians. They should have changed their strategy, may be some other alternative form of movement and protest. The whole country supported them and looked up to them for some solution to corruption.
We want to wait for a while to know as to what will be the exact result.
