When voting, what qualities are you looking for a preferred politician or political candidate?
Educational attainment, track record, honesty? How do you assess each qualities?
Honesty, In which is impossible in politics. Someone who knows what this Country needs and what will be the best scenario for the American people. Not someone who has no idea about the pulse of the Nation.
Someone with such integrity and strong principles that they are not for sale. He/she is seeking election to serve the people who send them there.
Sincerity and commanding in their speeches and believable in what they is saying, that leaves the message for all, that he will be a leader. The showing of respect for those he or she leads in the fulfilling of their roles as President or what ever their positions require, is of the utmost importance. These qualities are surely hard to fulfill in today;s world and its demands, just has it has always been in those years of the past.
Someone who understands the Constitution and it's role in governing, not ruling. Understanding that the federal government was meant to be and should be restricted, limited and small (both in scope and size). The 10th Amendment should be as strongly defended as the the other 9, and those should be defended more than they are. It is ok to determine a problem by way of emotion, but the answers need to be based on the Constitution and logic.
